Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Transport Managers in Road Haulage

Course Overview

BAR Training has teamed up with the Road Haulage Association (RHA) to deliver an 10-day (plus 1 exam day) Transport Manager CPC course at their Watford offices.
This course is open to all BAR Members and Non-Members in removals so everyone on the course will be involved in the removals industry. Delegates will have the opportunity to share experiences, learn from each other and develop their own support network. In addition, being away from their workplace, attendees will be able to focus all their energies on their studies rather than getting distracted by day-to-day operations.

Course Content
There are 7 modules for delegates to complete:
· Civil Law
· Commercial Law
· Social Law
· Fiscal Law
· Business & Financial Management of the Undertaking
· Access to the Market
· Road Safety

Who Should Attend?
· Those who want to enter the profession of Transport Manager
· Those who wish to demonstrate their professional competence to meet Operator Licencing requirements (Holding a CPC is one of the elements an applicant must satisfy for the Transport Commissioner to grant an ‘O’ Licence).

Note: Delegates can elect to have this training count towards Driver CPC periodic training (up to 35 hours). This will incur an additional DVSA upload fee of £43.75.

Duration & Venue 10 days training as follows:
24 Feb to 28 Feb (5 days training) – at BAR Watford
2 Mar to 5 Mar (4 days training ) – at BAR Watford
Revision Day 12 March – at BAR Watford
Exam day 13 March – choice of RHA venues
