In-Excess Removals took delivery of this vehicle in Feb 2019. It is a 12ton Daf LF 210 and the body was built to order by VanCraft in Norfolk and they also sourced the chassis on behalf of the owners. The main reason behind this purchase was purely because In-Excess needed a truck that could accommodate the equivalent capacity of 2 x 3.5 Luton box vans but without being too large, and also taking weight limits into consideration. Its design gives it the ability to transport three storage containers, with two being loaded through the nearside doors and the third through the rear barn doors. The vehicle is adaptable in the sense that the space above the cab can be converted from extra loading space into sleeping accommodation for 2 crew members. This vehicle is the only truck on the In-Excess fleet which has a tuck away tail lift.
