The builder of the body on this beautiful WLG Bedford is not known, but it is built of Plymax and the roof, which McCarthy’s rebuilt many years ago by copying the original, is of timber and sealed with duck cloth. The McCarthy family have owned the vehicle from the early 1970’s and to this day it regularly takes to the road to complete local removals. It is reported as being first class to drive and is, even after all these years, very reliable and easy to start.
