The Road Haulage Association (RHA) are furious with a 20 cent per cent tax hike increase in tax on lorry drivers. The BAR are working with The RHA on the issue and are hoping for a change in this new imposed levy. This would mean all but the ‘cleanest’ trucks would see the levy increase from £1000 to £1200 – an increase which could potentially cause many problems for HGV drivers and the industry as a whole.
