QSS General Manager – Recruited

Following a lengthy recruitment campaign, we are delighted to confirm the appointment of David Woodhouse as General Manager of QSS Ltd. David has been in the industry for many years and brings a considerable experience in both operational and managerial roles, having also run his own business, to his new role with the Association.

David has been married to his wife Alison for 32 years and has 2 grown children. He has been associated with The BAR for many years and is a past Vice Chair of West Midlands area, past Chairman and National Councillor for Scotland and is the current Scottish area secretary. David was also an RHA member for many years during his time running the family business.

Away from the removals industry, his interests include having community involvement through the Round Table, Rotary & Scouting groups. David has recently secured a BSI qualification as ISO9001 lead auditor and will undergo further training and gain auditing experience through December and will take up his full time role on 2nd January. David will work closely alongside Chris Waymouth throughout quarter one of 2018 to effect a seamless hand over of responsibilities during that time. Further details on this appointment will be published in due course. David will be based in the BAR/QSS office and will be relocating to the Watford area.
