Germany – 31st October – National Holiday

It has come to light that supposedly for this year only (2017), in celebration of the anniversary of the Reformation Day/Martin Luther, the 31st October 2017 has been made a National Holiday and there will be a driving ban across the whole of the country, not just in the regions previously advised.

The 1st November remains a regional holiday and driving bans will only apply in Baden Wurtemberg, Bavaria, North-Rhine Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate & Saar
